I cannot wait for this movie to come out. It is a story about my favorite revolutionary, if not historical figure. Yes, you got it right. It is a story about Ernesto Che Guevara.
And here is the trailer.
“We are doing everything possible to give labor this new status of social duty and to link it on the one side with the development of a technology which will create the conditions for greater freedom, and on the other side with voluntary work based on a Marxist appreciation of the fact that man truly reaches a full human condition when he produces without being driven by the physical need to sell his labor as a commodity. Man still needs to undergo a complete spiritual rebirth in his attitude towards his work, freed from the direct pressure of his social environment, though linked to it by his new habits. That will be communism”. – Ernesto Che Guevara
It was interesting to talk to the school’s Lifeguard Corps people for my article and take photographs of their training and equipment. Yeah, I’m both a writer and a photographer.
Then ml and I sat by the pool and talked about life and relationships. More like bitching, I think. But it was fun talking to the mad girl.
I got quite angsty when I was on the bus home. Somehow, I transformed into a piece of tuna and sharks were incessantly trying to prise open the tin to release those pieces of tuna.
‘Sharks’ refer to those fat aunties who tried to jostle their fat asses through the already packed bus.
Okay, this is bullshit. I’m crapping. I think I will get my karma soon.
Then I picked up the new book that I had bought this afternoon. It’s called Thermopylae: The Battle that Changed the World. The Battle of Thermopylae was the one that was depicted in the movie 300.
I got a bit excited and revived. I can’t wait to read more.
Hey ml, I think history is my therapy.
I’m a geek at heart, I admit.
But now, I need to get my arse off the chair to shower and then make myself a cuppa coffee so I can last through the night.
